Job Description:
The general maintenance worker performs a wide range of tasks relating to indoor and grounds maintenance to ensure offices, work areas and the exterior of buildings are kept neat and clean. Tasks and Responsabilities
Make sure the plant and grounds are clean and participates in their upkeep Perform maintenance for some equipment relating to the plant Prepare meeting rooms and work offices as needed Participates in minor upkeep repairs such air conditioning systems and vehicle maintenance Empty trash containers Keep sidewalks and parking lots free of ice and snow Inspect emergency systems such as exit ways, hoses and extinguishers Drive the forklift, the electric nacelle, the travelling crane and the electric transpallet, when needed, to perform handling procedures and visual inspections on a regular basis Drive the Zamboni and inspect it visually on a regular basis Perform maintenance tasks on the plant's electric vehicle batteries Respect the current company health and safety standards Perform other job-related tasks Job Requirements 1 year of general maintenance, an asset. Own a forklift operator permit, an asset. Have experience in cleaning and maintenance Demonstrated Skills Able to work within a constantly improving environment Able to lift weights up to a maximum of 50 pounds Able to work without supervision Responsible, meticulous and autonomous Available for work at various times, when needed Able to work well in a team setting Bath Fitter is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its hiring and business practices.
