The recruitment team at Myticas Consulting is looking for an experienced Shopify Back-End Developer who would be interested in a remote opportunity offered within Canada.

Roles & Responsibilities

Your job will consist of developing e-commerce sites for our customers based on Shopify, with the following roles & responsibilities:

• Create Shopify Apps, services, and integrations


• Work closely with the architectural team


• Code is driven by performance, securing, and quality


• Use a continuous improvement approach, refactoring code when needed and reducing technical debt


• Keep the project s documentation up-to-date


• Use SAFe (Agile), GitFlow, and Company s CI/CD workflow in all the development process


• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and have a proactive attitude


• Support the QA team during the testing process


• Keep your JS knowledge up-to-date and interested to become a Full Stack Developer

Key Skills and Competencies

MUST HAVE:

• Experience with NodeJs


• Best Practices for Securing APIs


• Experience with Shopify APIs


• Experience with AWS Services (Lambda, SNS, SQS)


• Experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL)


• Experience with REST APIs and web services


• Experience with TypeScript


• Experience with Jest


• Asynchronous Programming


• Experience working with Agile Methodologies


• Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, Graphic Design or equivalent


• Good verbal and written communication in English

NICE TO HAVE:

• DevOps concepts


• Experience with UX/UI design and Tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or similar


• Experience with modern development tools like Babel and Webpac
