Role : ETL Lead Developer
Location : Markham, ON (Currently 100% remote till COVID-19)

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIFIC SKILLS
- 10+ years of ETL experience and involved in large scale conversion implementation
- Basic understanding of distributed systems, operating systems, networking, databases, security, and analytics
- Familiarity with technologies but not limited to: Jira, Confluence, Azure, ServiceNow.
- Experience with relational database, must have SSIS, SSRS, Oracle, SQL server knowledge and experience, Talend a plus.
- Solid SQL development and optimizing large volume data processing
- Self-motivated, thorough, and methodical
- Knowledge and experience on approaches and tools for automated testing and monitoring
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems systematically

- Billing and Payment knowledge and transformation, Majesco software a plus
- Analyze, extract, transform and load data
- Create user stories, tasks for data conversion
- Verify data integrity and identify data cleanliness issues
- Data profiling, test and reconcile converted data to ensure conversion accuracy
- Develop and provide quantifiable metrics
- Analyze and tune the conversion process to ensure the timeliness of the data conversion
- Perform data profiling to document exceptions and effectively communicate data quality awareness
- Perform data transformation and data standardization to conform to data requirements
- Prepare data conversion strategy and plan with Majesco data conversion lead
- Responsible for extraction of quality source data from source system(s) and provide in the format required for vendor billing software staging layout
- Document and communicate testing results
- Work with billing software vendor's data conversion team for data reconciliation and balancing
- Work collaboratively within and across product teams, database administrators and develop good working relationship to troubleshoot technical issues that arise
- Participate in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product
- Participate in knowledge sharing, and contributes to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team.
