The Gig.
In this pivotal role, we are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help us pave the way into the Capital Markets. As we continue to connect all sides of the market, it is important to have someone able to articulate client requirements back to Product and Development to best position Q4 for success with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • The Solution Engineer (Virtual Events) is responsible for working with sales, clients, development, marketing, design and product teams to create solutions that meet client needs. The solutions engineer will help all teams deliver the right product to the right client.
  • Support the sales organization as the subject matter product expert by joining discovery calls to collect client requirements and help uncover the bigger picture
  • Create tailored presentations and demonstrations showcasing our Capital Markets and Virtual Events product to help execute on the sales strategy across the Capital Markets
  • Leverage product knowledge and technical acumen during client calls to explain product features and functionality
  • Provide technical expertise and serve as a trusted advisors to both client technical teams and executive decision makers
  • Communicate client's business requirements to Activation Team to ensure a positive on-boarding experience
  • Partner with product management team to provide client feedback and inform the product roadmap
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal contributor having the desire and energy to roll up their sleeves and make things happen
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
  • 4+ years of experience in a SaaS environment in a sales support or sales engineering role
  • Fintech or experience with the Capital Markets industry is a plus
  • Experience delivering technical demonstrations of software to business audiences
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to translate that to client business needs
  • A team player who can work closely with sales to add value to the selling process
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal contributor having the desire and energy to roll up their sleeves and make things happen
  • Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, Gong, and LI Navigator
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
