In Toronto, jobs can be found in a variety of sectors, especially with industrial and manufacturers employers looking to fill industrial electrician and supervisor job vacancies. Financial and business services employers offer careers in management jobs, and health care providers frequently advertise medical jobs in hospitals and care homes to licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, general practitioners, physicians, medical radiation technologists and other health care professionals.

Over eight million people live in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The GTA consists of 25 cities including Markham, which has Canada’s largest concentration of high-tech companies; Mississauga with its large transportation and financial IT development centres, and Oakville and Oshawa which are the Canadian homes to Ford and General Motors.

The headquarters of Canada’s five largest banks Bank of Montreal (BMO), TD Canada Trust, ScotiaBank, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) are all located within the GTA.

Toronto is Canada’s largest city and is the capital city of the Province of Ontario. Global surveys often list Toronto as one of the most livable cities in the world.
