Since our founding in 1949, Heyl Truck Lines has grown to become one of the most respected freight lines in North America by providing prompt, courteous service.
From our headquarters in Akron, Iowa, our fleet of 300 satellite-equipped tractors hauls freight across the United States and Canada. We also have terminals in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Zephyrhills, Florida; and Calgary, Alberta.
A family-owned business, Heyl specializes in temperature-controlled commodities, as well as dry freight. Safety, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction are our hallmarks.

When you apply for a driving position with Heyl, you can expect us to deliver the following:
· Dispatch miles that average between 10,000 and 12,000 per
month for the entire year
· Weekly trip pay on dispatched route miles both loaded and
empty
· Pay via standard paper check, electronic direct deposit, or direct
access from your fuel card
· Major medical, health, life, dental, and vision insurance (available
in 90 days or less)
· 401k retirement program (contributions start after 90 days)
· Vacation pay
· “Limited” passenger program
